Over the last two weeks families have been heavy and fearful knowing their SNAP benefits will be withheld on November 1st.  Black Women in Business is joining forces with the Carver Museum, Central Texas Food Bank , Trader Joe's and Black Mamas Village to provide FREE groceries on Saturday, November 1st from 11am-3pm.  We are preparing to support 300 households.  We will serve our families in a “drive-thru” fashion to make things simple and efficient for everyone. Our giveaway will include meat, vegetables, fruit, beans, rice, can goods, bread, pastries and desserts.  Food is available on a first come, first serve basis while supplies last.

How can YOU help?

We have had a huge request for eggs and meat, and these items are rarely donated for obvious reasons.  So, we are asking our community to consider donating $5 (cost per dozen of eggs) to help us meet this need.  Click the link below to sow a seed!
