Teaching Artistry 101
Presented by Meg Greene
Tuesday, May 6, 2025
6:30-8pm
What is a teaching artist? What does the landscape of teaching artistry look like in Austin? How does your unique skill set translate to teaching artist work?
Join us to explore teaching artistry in Austin. We’ll discuss what defines teaching artistry, share the scope of work available to teaching artists, and some practical considerations around contracts and taxes. Then we’ll individually reflect on our identities and bodies of work as artists and imagine how to bring that work to life as a teaching artist.
This event is free and open to the public, registration is encouraged but not required.
