🏡 Gillum Branch Library (North Village)

Sábados en Familia is a free kids’ cultural arts and crafts program delivered by the Emma S. Barrientos Mexican-American Cultural Center. The program takes place at libraries all over Austin. Families with kids of all ages can participate for free. A craft project follows the read-along.

On March 8, we will read Spike: The Mixed-Up Monster by Susan. Spike is a scary-looking salamander who keeps trying to frighten other animals—until he finds that using fear is not the best way to make friends. Participants will create their own Axolotl mask!

*Kid- friendly, all ages
