🇵🇷 PIRAGUAMAN RETURNS! 🇵🇷

The Puerto Rican Cultural Center presents, Sembrando Herencia 2025: PIRAGUAMAN RETURNS!

🌟 SYNOPSIS

Our Puerto Rican superhero is back! PiraguaMan, along with his brave instructor, travels through time to rescue crucial moments in Puerto Rican history.

🔥 From Maroon women and their children in 1840,
🔥 to the Jíbaro resistance in Lares in 1868,
🔥 and the defenders of the Puerto Rican flag in 1950,

PiraguaMan reminds us that true heroism is born from the memory, culture, and heart of the people. This community theatre musical, written by Tekina-eirú Maynard, comes alive with original music and dance, live actors, and Boricua Warrior Arts — fighting with sticks and machetes — to honor our forgotten heroes. Join us in the Boyd Vance Theatre of the George Washington Carver Museum and Cultural Center on December 13 (6:30pm) and 14 (3:00pm), 2025, 1165 Angelina Street in East Austin, TX.
