RAIN OR SHINE! The Pumpkin Carver Fall Festival will be moving indoors. Join us on Saturday, October 25, 2025 from 12-3 PM at the George Washington Carver Museum and Cultural Center for the annual Pumpkin Carver! This free, family-friendly event is jam packed with fall fun. The Carver will supply free pumpkins (2 pumpkins per family, while supplies last), carving kits to use on site, goodie bags, food, and drinks! Pumpkins will now be distributed (2 max per family) for take-home carving. All planned programming will pivot to the covered area in front of the museum and inside the museum. Event time will remain 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., and we’ve even added a few bonus indoor activities.
A little rain can’t stop this pumpkin party!
The Pumpkin Carver is presented in partnership with the Carver Branch Library, the George Washington Carver Ambassadors, Greater East Austin Youth Association, National Council of Negro Women, and Carver ATX Foundation with support from Black Women in Business, House of Torment, Texas Performing Arts, 4H, Starbucks, and LULAC National Educational Service Centers, Inc.
