SAVE THE DATE! Juneteenth is just around the corner, and the George Washington Carver Museum is back with the 2025 Stay Black & Live Citywide Juneteenth Celebration!! Kick things off with some of Austin's most inspiring creatives, innovators, and educators at the Free Your Mind Symposium Series, June 10th and 11th, followed by the Stay Black & Live Music Festival and Community Cookout on June 14th. Enjoy Austin’s finest musicians, free BBQ, tons of activities that stimulate then activate the left and right brain, a Black vendor market, and more. The Carver wraps up its Juneteenth programming with a community remembrance ceremony on June 19th, a beautiful afternoon of honoring loved ones. Stay Black and Live: June 10th-19th.
