The Austin Police Department Residential Burglary Unit has arrested Michael Dominic Ruiz, Daniel Gabriel Milner, Rex Daniel Fagile, and Renata Ava Shepherd for multiple storage unit burglaries committed over the last six months across the City of Austin. The group is linked to dozens of storage unit burglaries, which resulted in thousands of dollars in property theft.
 
Detectives are still working on identifying victims in these cases and they believe that there are more than one-hundred additional victims.
 
The investigation was conducted by the APD Residential Burglary Unit who partnered with APD Patrol units and employees at various storage unit facilities throughout the City of Austin.
 
This is an ongoing investigation and additional charges are expected to be filed.
