The Austin Police Department Robbery Unit is requesting the public's assistance with identifying a suspect involved in a robbery that occurred at the Conn’s HomePlus store located at 5431 N IH 35 SVRD SB. The incident happened on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at 11:39 a.m.

The suspect, whose description and photo are included in this release, made threats to shoot the store employee and left the scene with merchandise.

The suspect is described as:

• Hispanic Male
• Between 20 to 30 years of age
• 5’ 2” tall
• 120 lbs.
• Black hair
• Brown eyes
• He was last seen wearing glasses, a gray "Reebok" shirt, black jacket, blue jeans, and black Nike shoes.
