Location:               6900 block of Cameron Road

The Austin Police Department requests the public’s help identifying a man suspected in a theft that occurred on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at approximately 4:30 p.m. The incident happened on the 6900 block of Cameron Road.

The suspect, whose photo and description are included in this release, followed the victim as she was walking on Cameron Road. The suspect walked up behind her and stole a personal item.
 
The suspect is described as:

• Hispanic male
• Mid 20’s years of age
• Thin, short, black hair
• He was last seen wearing a red hoodie and dark colored shorts.

 
Anyone with any information may submit a tip anonymously through the Capital Area Crime Stoppers Program by visiting austincrimestoppers.org or by calling 512-472-8477. A reward of up to $1,000 may be available for any information that leads to an arrest.
