The Austin Police Department (APD) Robbery Unit requests the public’s help identifying a suspect involved in an Assault with Injury that occurred on Friday, September 8, 2023, at 4:35 p.m. The assault happened at the Valero gas station in the 11300 block of North IH 35 SVRD SB.

The suspect, whose description and photo are included in this release, argued with the cashier and hit him with a beer can.
 
Suspect described as:

• Black male
• Between 30 to 40 years of age
• 5’ 11” tall
• 200 lbs.
• Short black hair
• Black beard
• He was last seen wearing a blue shirt, black Baltimore Ravens hat, and blue jeans
