The City of Austin seeks public input regarding its proposed Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal
The City of Austin (COA) is conducting a public consultation meeting for its Triennial Goal Submission of its Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program goal for Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) funded contracts for Federal Fiscal Years 2024-2026. COA seeks public input regarding its proposed DBE goal. COA and its consultant, Colette Holt & Associates, will conduct a virtual meeting to provide the opportunity for public consultation with minority, women, and general contractor advocacy groups, community organizations, public officials, and all other interested stakeholders. Participants will be able to contribute meaningful information concerning the availability of disadvantaged and non-disadvantaged businesses, the effects of discrimination on opportunities for DBEs, and COA’s efforts to establish a level playing field for the participation of DBEs.
The interactive meeting will be on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at 11 a.m.
COA will accept public comments until July 28, 2023. The public comment period will not extend the August 1, 2023, FAA submission deadline. Submit comment(s) via email at email@example.com.
