On June 24, 2022, at approximately 2:58 a.m., Austin Police Department (APD) officers responded to a collision involving two vehicles in the 14600 block of N IH 35 NB. A vehicle struck the back end of another.   Paramedics took one of the drivers, Carl Anthony James, to the hospital, where he died from his injuries.
