On Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at approximately 11:34 a.m., Austin Police Department (APD) officers responded to a crash between two vehicles in the 1800 block of Mearns Meadow Boulevard. Preliminary information shows that an SUV was traveling east on Mearns Meadow Boulevard when it crashed into a parked vehicle, which was unoccupied. The driver of the SUV was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
