NOTICE OF COMPLAINT
September 2, 2022
ICMS #: 2022-0748
On September 1, 2022, the OPO received a phone complaint.
The complainant alleges: APD was nice enough to let him know the homeless camp at
was moved. The officer told the complainant, "Now you
know they are going to move right back in". The complainant tried to explain to the officer
the homeless keep moving back in because they know APD will not take action by putting
them in jail. The APD officer told him he is doing the best he can. APD was just pacifying
him because the homeless are just going to move back in. He has tried to contact the police
but there has been no response.
This notice of complaint is a request for Internal Affairs to initiate an investigation to
determine if the employee conduct is within compliance of APD policy, Civil Service
Rules, and Municipal Civil Service Rules.
