On August 29, 2022, the OPO received an online complaint.
The complainant alleges: Mr.

submitted a crash
accident report on
that was EXTREMELY BIASED against me. In his report,
Mr.
claimed that I caused the accident and that I struck the other
vehicle involved in the accident. THIS IS COMPLETELY UNTRUE AND DOES NOT
ACCURATELY REPRESENT WHAT I TOLD Mr.
Mr.
COMPLETELY MISREPRESENTED & MISINTERPRETED what I told him
happened. Even My wife who was at the scene spoke with Mr.
and
told him that English was not my first language and explained to him again what I told her
happened AND ASKED HIM TO LIMIT HIS REPORT TO THE FACTS ONLY & NOT
MISREPRESENT MY STATEMENT IN HIS REPORT. MR.
informed us that he has years of experience with car accidents and although he was NOT
A WITNESS TO THE CRASH, he still can draw HIS OWN conclusion about what
happened. Mr.
MADE A COMPLETELY INCORRECT AND
INACCURATE ACCOUNT OF WHAT HAPPENED EVENTHOUGH HE WAS NOT
AT THE SCENE. The accident REPORT submitted by Mr.

COMPLETELY INACCURATE, HIGHLY UNFAIR, AND DOES NOT REPRESENT
AT ALL WHAT I TOLD HIM HAPPENED. It is quite unfortunate that this kind of
unchecked misrepresentation of the facts still exists. It is counterproductive and negatively
impacts our communities. PERHAPS A MORE TRANSPARENT AND FAIR PRACTICE
TO AVOID MISINTERPRETATION OR MISREPRESENTATION BY Mr.
OF WHAT WAS VERBALLY CONVEYED TO HIM, IS TO HAVE A written
statement PREPARED by Mr.
summarizing WHAT HE WAS
VERBALLY TOLD happened and bearing a signature of the driver involved who by
his/her signature acknowledges and agrees that it is an accurate account of what was
verbally communicated to Mr.

raised here would make a difference; unfortunately, I am afraid this complaint will simply
