NOTICE OF COMPLAINT
January 20, 2023
ICMS #: 2023-0049
On January 18, 2023, the OPO received an online complaint.
The complainant alleges: While I was driving to work on
, I was in the right
lane, I put my turn signal on and proceeded to get over in the left lane, the car (a white
police cruiser) turned on their lights SO I retreated back into the right lane to complete
getting pulled over. At this point the officer turned his lights off and continued driving.
This action was a complete abuse of power. I didn't retrieve an identifying number or the
license plate SO I'm assuming nothing will be done. These disgusting and unfair actions
can/will/do affect how people see APD.
This notice of complaint is a request for Internal Affairs to initiate an investigation to
determine if the employee conduct is within compliance of APD policy, Civil Service
Rules, and Municipal Civil Service Rules.
