The public is invited to City Hall on Saturday, June 22 for The Party at the People’s House - an evening of community, culture, and creativity.

The City of Austin’s We All Belong Anti-Hate initiative invites the public to City Hall at 301 W 2nd Street, on Saturday, June 22, from 6 - 10 p.m., for The Party at the People’s House - an evening of community, culture, and creativity.

The celebration, produced in partnership with Almost Real Things, will be a FREE immersive summer experience with live music, performances, art activities, family-friendly fun, and more!

Here is the official Party at the People’s House 2024 Lineup

MUSIC & PERFORMANCES

  • The Peterson Brothers: soul + funk + blues + jazz duo
  • Deezie Brown: blend of southern hip-hop & jazz, performing with a full band
  • Frederick Boom & DJ Cez: rapper known for his dance-forward tracks
  • Kid Static: sample-based experimental hip-hop, D.I.Y. punk, and roots music, performing with a full band
  • Chicoselfie: band fusing latin rhythms, catchy pop melodies, and though provoking lyrics
  • Heavenly Lion Dragon Dance
  • Ignite on Wheels Roller Skating
  • MeliSamba Dance

There will also be representatives from nearly 30 City programs and community organizations.

Anyone planning on attending is encouraged to RSVP here, and those who can’t make it can still check out all the fun LIVE on ATXN at ATXN.tv.

ATXN is also available on Cable Television through Spectrum and Astound (formerly Grande) and via the ATXN app for AppleTV, Roku, Amazon Fire, and Google Play.

The purpose of the party is to inspire visitors to take action to keep Austin a safe and welcoming place by reporting acts of hate.  More information about streamlined reporting and other resources is available at austintexas.gov/againsthate.

Getting There  

Attendees may take advantage of alternative mobility options, including the Ann and Roy Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail, public transportation, ride-sharing, or carpooling. 

  • Hike-and-Bike Trail (motorized vehicles are not permitted on the trail).
  • Bike to the event. 
  • Use the CapMetro trip planner.
