Welcome to the Creative Reset, a citywide engagement initiative that marks the first phase of The Office of Arts, Culture, Music & Entertainment’s (ACME) one-year strategic planning process.
Reimagining ACME’s Funding Programs
ACME is reimagining the structure, accessibility, and implementation of its funding programs, including:
- Nexus Grant Program
- Elevate Grant Program
- Thrive Grant Program
- Austin Live Music Fund
- Creative Space Assistance Program
- Heritage Preservation Grant
- Art in Public Places (AIPP) Ordinance and Program
The Creative Reset is our response to build a community-led effort, ensuring that every Austinite has a voice in shaping these programs. This process will reflect on years of community feedback and will enhance the transparency and accessibility of funding programs that better support the broad cultural landscape of our city.

We’re convening small-group conversations with artists, cultural workers, and key community decision makers.

Host a discussion in your home, studio, or community space. Gather your peers, then send us your notes.
