The Office of the Chief Medical Officer (OCMO) has historically produced and participated in clinical research. OCMO is now fortunate to be able to regularly conduct research and develop a robust research program focusing on pre-hospital medical care, more advanced interventions, and evaluate outcomes related to the care delivered by the wide variety of programs and delivery models existing at Austin – Travis County EMS. OCMO promotes evidence-based care, and will be expanding our research to support that.
