RFA 9100 CG0001 Community Youth Development 2021

SOLICITATION NAME: Request for Applications for Community Youth Development (CYD)

The City of Austin (City) seeks applications in response to this Request for Applications (RFA) from qualified social service providers (Applicants) to provide services that prevent juvenile delinquency and increase youth protective factors associated with juvenile delinquency.  Applicants must provide services only to eligible 6 – 17-year-old students who live in and/or attend school in the 78744-zip code.  Applicants must propose to provide at least one or a combination of the following program services: Youth Leadership Development (YLD), Youth-Based Curriculum Class or Activity, or Mentoring. The services will have a goal of providing early intervention or prevention of at-risk behavior that leads to child abuse or neglect, delinquency, running away, and truancy.

Funding and Timeline

Application Due Date: July 8, 2021 at 3 PM CST

Total Funding Amount: $160,000

Maximum Ceiling Amount:  $80,000 per award

1. Confirm that your organization is a registered vendor with the City of Austin 

To find the City of Austin Vendor Number please visit Austin Finance Online and search for the organization’s legal name. To register to become a potential City of Austin vendor, go to Austin Finance Online.

2. Be a registered user in the Partnergrants system, go to the Partnergrants website and click on “Register Here.”

Note that the organization’s City of Austin Vendor number is required to complete registration in Partnergrants.

Note: The deadline to complete the Pre-Application Threshold Review Form for RFA 9100 CG0001 Community Youth Development 2021 has been extended to tomorrow, Wednesday June 16, 2021 at 12:00pm (NOON). Applicants need to complete and submit this form in Partnergrants.
