City of Austin Notice of Housing First Competitive Solicitation - Closed
The City of Austin has issued a “Housing First” Request for Qualification Statements (RFQS) solicitation to help the City establish a contract with one or more qualified nonprofits or governmental entities to provide property management/operations and supportive services using Housing First principles at one or more City owned properties.
The City will retain ownership of the property, which shall be leased for a nominal amount to a Contractor providing property management/operations and supportive services to individuals experiencing homelessness at the specified location(s). The City reserves the right to make multiple awards based on submissions to this solicitation, as well as future properties acquired by the City, that have not yet been identified. Because future properties have not yet been identified, award of a contract for a future property based off this solicitation does not guarantee any actual work.
Organizations may respond as a collaborative or joint venture; however, the Lead entity shall be the entity who submits the Offer in response to the RFQS and will be the entity with whom the City contracts.
Due Date: Responses are due prior to May 14, 2020, by 02:00 PM at Central Purchasing, 124 W 8th Street, Room/Suite 308, Austin, TX 78701.
