Spring Kickball: Where Competition Meets Community

Our Spring Kickball Tournament brought the heat and the hustle! Teens hit the field ready to compete, cheer each other on, and enjoy the fresh air under clear spring skies. From fast sprints to clutch kicks, every play showed teamwork, determination, and pure fun.

More than just a game, this tournament created space for youth to build confidence, stay active, and connect with friends in a positive, supportive environment. Win or lose, the energy, sportsmanship, and smiles made the day a huge success—and we’re already looking forward to the next one.

Givens Recreation Center Learning Through Play

Learning Through Play

Sometimes the best learning gets a little messy—and that’s exactly the point. During today’s hands-on activity, our youth explored creativity, sensory play, and teamwork using shaving cream as their canvas. Laughter filled the room as kids experimented with textures, shapes, and imagination, all while building fine motor skills and confidence.

Moments like these remind us that learning doesn’t always happen with pencils and paper. It happens through curiosity, guidance, and the freedom to explore in a safe, supportive space. Messy hands, happy faces, and meaningful connections—that’s what community programming is all about.
