Try Bicycling to the Next Austin FC Home Game

You might have come across the many ways CapMetro can get you to Q2 Stadium — a sports venue that was intentionally built with very little car parking.
But would you like to work a little exercise into your commute to the game? Try bicycling! Austin FC offers bicycle valet parking on the east side of the stadium, near the McKalla Station CapMetro Rail stop.
It’s easy to use. Simply present your bike at the valet and take a ticket. Stadium staff guard your bike in the enclosed valet area while you enjoy the match. Present your ticket after the game to retrieve your bike.
Getting there by pedal power is now safer than ever. Since last season, protected bike lanes have been added to Rutland Drive, allowing access to the stadium from the south on McKalla Place. Also, in 2024, protected lanes were added to Kramer Lane, which allows access from West Braker Lane (which also has bike lanes) from the north. A new shared-use path (part of the ongoing Red Line Trail project) has been added alongside the railroad tracks off Braker for the final approach to Q2.
Austin FC faces off El Paso Locomotive FC on Wednesday, May 7. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m., so wear bright/reflective clothing and use lights — it will be dark by the final whistle.
