Approve an ordinance adopting and levying a property (ad valorem) tax rate for the City of Austin for Fiscal Year 2010-2011. There is no unanticipated fiscal impact. A fiscal note is not required.

Ordinance No. 20100929-001, adopting and levying a property (ad valorem) tax rate for the City of Austin for Fiscal Year 2010-2011 of 45.71 cents per one hundred dollars ($100) of valuation, was approved on Council Member Cole's motion, Mayor Pro Tem Martinez' second on a 6-0 vote. Council Member Spelman was absent.
