Discussion and possible action on municipal practices and policies related to open government issues.
The briefing was done by Karen Kennard, City Attorney, and Jim Cousar, Outside Counsel. The motion directing the staff to develop a rough draft of a proposed policy for consideration at the next meeting concerning the use of personal communication devices for City business was approved on Mayor Pro Tem Martinez' motion, Council Member Riley's second on a 6-0 vote. Council Member Spelman was off the dais.
