The City Council may go into a closed session as permitted by the Texas Open Meetings Act, (Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code) regarding any item on this agenda. A contract for telecommunication services for all City departments through the Texas Department of Information Resources cooperative contract program, for an initial term of one year with up to four one-year extension options in an amount not to exceed $16,000,000. Funding: $3,200,000 is available in the Operating Budgets of various City departments. Funding for the remaining contract term is contingent upon available funding in future budgets. Funding: $12,410,000 is available in the Operating Budgets of various City departments. Funding for the remaining contract term is contingent upon available funding in future budgets.
