Join us and the curators of "Golden Years" for a screening of the documentary, 11,103 . This film screening will coincide with the 53rd anniversary of Martial Law in the Philippines. Keep the memories of Martial Law alive, by learning about how Filipino-Americans in Texas are connected to the events of Martial Law in the Philippines, and listening to stories of survivors of Martial Law.
Anakbayan Houston will share a historical primer before the film and facilitate a communal group discussion following the film screening. Preshow archival news footage will be provided by the Texas Archive of the Moving Image (TAMI).
