The Austin Police (APD) Aggravated Assault Unit is requesting the public's help in gathering information related to an Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon that occurred on December 8, 2025, at approximately 2:16 p.m. The suspect followed the victim around the corner of the building, pulled out a knife, and stabbed the victim multiple times resulting in serious but not life-threating bodily injury.
 
The suspect is described as:

  • Hispanic Male
  • Spanish Speaker
  • 40s
  • Medium build
  • Clean shaven
  • He was last seen wearing a green shirt, black jacket, and blue jeans
  • Known to frequent the area of 9717 N Lamar Boulevard

APD strongly encourages anyone with information should contact the Aggravated Assault Unit at 512-974-4429. A reward of up to $1,000 is available for information leading to an arrest.
