The Austin Police (APD) Aggravated Assault Unit is seeking the public's assistance in gathering information related to an aggravated assault case involving a deadly weapon, as well as information regarding the identity of a suspect.
 
On Wednesday, November 19th, 2025, at approximately 6:36 a.m., APD officers responded to the area of 1700 Burton Drive regarding a victim who sustained a gunshot wound after a disturbance with a male. The male suspect left the scene before officers arrived.
 
Detectives have acquired a photograph of a suspect and are requesting the public’s help with any information related to the pictured individual, as well as any information pertaining to the aggravated assault case.
 
Anyone with any information about identity of the suspect should call the APD Aggravated Assault Unit at 512-974-5245.
