The Austin Police Department (APD) Highway Enforcement unit is requesting the public’s assistance with identifying a suspect in connection to failure to stop and render aid incident.
 
On Thursday, May 8, 2025, at approximately 1 p.m., APD officers responded to a two-vehicle crash in the 12300 block of IH 35 NB. One of the vehicles did not stop to call 9-1-1 or render aid and instead left the scene immediately after the crash.
 
The driver of the second vehicle was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
 
The suspect vehicle is described as a:

• Unknown make or model
• Red in color
