The Austin Police Department Robbery Unit is requesting public assistance with identifying a male suspect involved in a robbery by threat occurred at 1710 Woodward Street on Friday, May 23, 2025, at 5:16 p.m.

The suspect, whose description and photo are included below, walked up to the victim, stole his wrench and threatened to strike the victim with his own wrench while demanding his personal property.

The suspect is described as:

• Hispanic Male
• 20-30 years of age
• Approximately 5’ 9” tall
• Medium build
• Suspect was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and light-colored shorts
