Austin Police (APD) detectives are requesting the public's assistance in identifying a female suspect linked to a credit card abuse incident.
On Friday, October 24, 2025, a victim staying at the Hampton Inn for work discovered that their hotel room had been burglarized, and several credit cards were fraudulently used at multiple retail locations. Surveillance footage reveals a female suspect using the victim's credit card at Walmart and Murphy’s gas station on E. Ben White Boulevard, as well as at CVS Pharmacy on E. Riverside Drive, among other retailers.
The suspect is described as: .png)
- White or Hispanic female
- Between 50 -55 years old
- Medium build
- Short, curly dark hair
- Last seen wearing: Khaki pants, a dark shirt, and glasses
