The Austin Police Department (APD) Missing Persons Unit is requesting help in locating 81-year-old Jaime Tamariz. 

Mr. Tamariz was last seen on Thursday, December 19, 2024, around 7 PM in the 900 block of East 2nd Street. Mr. Tamariz has dementia and only speaks Spanish. 

APD is concerned about his safety and immediate welfare. 

Mr. Tamariz is described as:

• Hispanic Male
• 5'6
• 140 lbs.
• Brown Eyes
• Salt & Pepper Hair
• Last Seen Wearing: dark grey sweatshirt, dark grey sweatpants, & sandals
