The Austin Police Department Robbery Unit is requesting public assistance with identifying a suspect involved in a Robbery by Assault that occurred at the 7-11 store located at 201 West Ben White Boulevard SVRD on November 18th at approximately 12:30 a.m.

The suspect, whose description and photos are included below, entered the 7-Eleven, grabbed items from inside the store, and attempted to exit the business with unpaid merchandise. An employee from the store intervened, and the suspect assaulted the employee before breaking the front glass door to flee the premises.

The suspect is described as:

• White or mixed race male
• 20-30 years of age
• 5’10”
• Dark colored beard

The suspect was last seen wearing:

• Black hat
• Green plaid long-sleeve shirt
• Blue jeans with a chain
• Black shoes
• Green bags
• Gray and black bag
