The Austin Police Department (APD) Criminal Investigations Division is requesting the public’s assistance with a identifying a male, whose photos are included above, that assaulted an elderly male.

On Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at approximately 6:16 p.m., the suspect approached an elderly male at the Central Market located at 4001 North Lamar Boulevard. The suspect aggressively shoved the elderly man to the ground and then pushed him two more times after the victim got up.

The suspect is described as:
•    White male
•    35-45 years of age
•    5’9” – 6’1”
•    175 – 210 lbs
•    Long, black, ponytail-length hair
•    Full, dark beard with grey hair in the chin area
•    No visible tattoos
