Austin Police (APD) Detectives have arrested Paul Lietz and Manuel Rangel in connection with two separate sexual assault cases involving their patients.

Despite being independent incidents, the allegations in both cases reflect similarities; both faced sexual assault charges.

Paul Lietz, a physical therapist employed in the Mueller area, has been accused of sexually assaulting a patient. Similarly, Manuel Rangel, who worked as a physical therapist in the Medical Parkway area, has also been accused of sexual assault by a patient.

Given the sensitive nature of these investigations, specific details cannot be disclosed at this time. Both cases are open and active investigations.
