Suspect (Arrested): Aidan Hunt, White male, 24 years of age
On Thursday, November 13, 2025, at approximately 5:22 p.m., Austin Police (APD) Officers responded to the call of a deceased person at 4107 Victory Dr. When Officers arrived, they found the victim, later identified as Robert Wentworth, with trauma. He was inside a large cardboard box behind a bus stop. Mr. Wentworth was pronounced deceased on scene at 5:53 p.m.
Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene Specialists responded to process the scene and interview witnesses. The investigation revealed that Robert Wentworth had been living with a man named Aidan Hunt, who lived just a few hundred yards from where the victim was located. A search warrant was executed at Hunt’s residence, where evidence related to the murder was discovered. Consequently, an arrest warrant was issued for Aidan Hunt on charges of First-Degree Murder in the death of Robert Wentworth.
On the morning of November 16, 2025, members of the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force located and arrested Hunt in the 3900 block of Lamar Boulevard without incident.
