The Austin Police Department is actively addressing a concerning trend of vehicle burglaries within the Austin Park system, impacting both residents and visitors. We recognize the frustration and anxiety these incidents cause and remain committed to enhancing safety in our parks.

In recent weeks, our dedicated patrol shifts and investigative units have made significant strides in identifying and apprehending suspects involved in these offenses, resulting in several successful arrests. However, we need your help in our continued efforts to combat this issue.

We are seeking assistance in locating and apprehending the following individuals, who have outstanding warrants related to their involvement in vehicle burglaries. These suspects have been identified as having committed offenses, including the use of stolen bank cards to make fraudulent charges on victims' accounts.

If you encounter any of these individuals within the Austin City Parks, please do not approach, contact 9-1-1 immediately.

Here are some safety tips to avoid being a victim of a vehicle burglary:

  • In light of these incidents, we encourage all park-goers to remain vigilant.
  • Please secure any valuables in your trunk or refrain from leaving them in your vehicle if you plan to be away for an extended period of time.
  • Remain aware of your surroundings and report any suspicious activities.

If you have any information regarding the whereabouts of these individuals, we urge you to call 9-1-1 or submit a tip anonymously through the Capital Area Crime Stoppers Program. You can do so by visiting austincrimestoppers.org or calling 512-472-8477. A reward of up to $1,000 may be granted for information that leads to an arrest.
