Join Austin Parks and Recreation, Austin Parks Foundation, and Scenic Brook Neighborhood Association at Scenic Brook Pocket Park, 7300 Oak Meadow Dr., for a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Tuesday, September 23 at 9 a.m. The celebration is free and open to the public.  

Scenic Brook Pocket Park is a small park in southwest Austin, District 8. The park includes a newly accessible walkway, seating, trails, shaded picnic area and a playscape. Situated along a tributary of Williamson Creek, the lower area of the park plays an important role in supporting the health of Barton Springs.
