On September 11, 2025, at 2:23 p.m., Officers from the Austin Police Department (APD) responded to a single vehicle collision located at the intersection of Walsh Tarlton Lane and Pinnacle Road. The driver of that vehicle, later identified as Caitlyn Morgan Bedwell, was transported to a local hospital where she was later pronounced deceased.

This incident is being investigated as Austin’s 72nd fatal crash of 2025, resulting in 76 fatalities. On the date of this crash in 2024, 63 fatal crashes resulted in 68 deaths.
