The Austin City Council is seeking qualified applicants for two unexpired positions on the five member Municipal Civil Service Commission, with terms ending May 2027.

If rule revisions are brought forward by the MCS Director, the MCS Commission will recommend modifications to the City Council.

- City of Austin resident
- Qualified voter of the City
- Preferred experience or knowledge of the administration of human resources, labor relations or in labor/employment law
Eligible applicants must not be registered or required to register as a lobbyist under Chapter 4-8 of the City Code, nor may they be current employees of the City of Austin.
