The Austin Police (APD) Auto Theft Unit is requesting the public’s help with identifying a suspect in connection to an Auto Theft incident that occurred on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at approximately 4:53 a.m., at the Mr. Detail car wash located at 1803 Rutland Drive.
 
The suspect entered the car wash on a bicycle and left in a stolen vehicle.
 
The suspect is described as:

• Hispanic male
• Mustache, long sideburns, and possible goatee
• He was last seen wearing a long Nike t-shirt, sweatpants, a baseball cap, tennis shoes, and a jacket.
