The Austin Police (APD) Aggravated Assault Unit is requesting the public's help in gathering information related to an Aggravated Assault that occurred on Sunday, March 1, 2026.
At 3:36 a.m., APD officers responded to a report of a shooting at Club 420, located at 501 Neches Street. When officers arrived on the scene, they located an adult male victim with a gunshot wound. Officers rendered aid until Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services (ATCEMS) arrived and transported the victim to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Preliminary investigation indicates a fight broke out inside the club. During the altercation, an unknown individual produced a firearm and fired at least one shot, striking the victim.
At this time, there has been no suspect identified or arrest made in relation to this incident. Detectives believe that there may be more witnesses to the incident, and are encouraging anyone with photos, videos, or other potential evidence to share them with APD.
