On Friday, April 25, 2025, at approximately 11:29 p.m., Austin 9-1-1 received multiple calls that reported a shooting in the woods behind 506 E Rundberg Lane. Officers arrived and found an unresponsive female, later identified as Gabrielle Williams, with apparent gunshot wounds on the sidewalk in front of the car wash. Her boyfriend had carried her from the camp to this location for assistance. Ms. Williams was pronounced deceased on scene at 12:30 a.m. 
 
Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene Specialists responded to process the scene and interview witnesses. The investigation showed that Ms. Williams was by her tent in the woods with her boyfriend when she was shot several times by a suspect who then left the scene.

This case is being investigated as Austin's 20th homicide of 2025.
