The focus of the Drawing & Painting Program is on traditional mediums such as drawing, pastel, acrylic and oil painting, watercolor, and also a variety of mixed media. Skilled instructors that can work with varying levels of experience and provide feedback will take you to the next level. Small classes ensure enough space and quality instruction. Our 700 square foot studio provides easels, work tables, and still life objects.

Adrienne HodgeAdrienne Hodge is an interdisciplinary artist and educator based in Austin, Texas. She has taught art to students of all ages for over a decade. As an educator, Adrienne is committed to a process-based philosophy of holding space for lifelong learners through focused techniques and creative support. She currently teaches national online drawing classes for Michaels stores as well as ongoing private lessons and customized online courses from her studio at Canopy in East Austin. Her work can be found in the private collections of many notable collectors of contemporary art. |

Andrea Muñoz MartinezAndrea Muñoz Martinez is a Latina artist who paints a colorful, vibrant imaginary space she calls Borderlandia. Her performance art take the border and boundaries as their subject. She is an alumnus of The University of Texas BFA program and UC Davis MFA Program. Her work can be found in the public collection at The Center for the Study of the Southwest, in private collections around the world and at Art For The People Gallery. She gives public talks about art and art making to university students and public audiences. She lives and works in Austin, TX. |

Linda WandtLinda Wandt is a representational oil painter and muralist. Originally from Long Island, NY, she moved to Texas in 1999 and attended The University of Texas at Austin where she obtained a BA in Studio Art, then studied painting and drawing with a local atelier. Linda has shown her portraiture and narrative focused paintings in countless art fairs and local businesses, and her work is in many private collections. Her studio is at Canopy Art Complex. |
