APD Detectives Search for a Suspect in Connection to a Collision Involving Bodily Injury

Austin Police (APD) Highway Enforcement Detectives are requesting the public’s help with identifying a suspect in connection to a Collision Involving Bodily Injury that occurred on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at approximately 9:39 p.m., in the intersection of S. IH 35 SVRD NB and E. Slaughter Lane.
 
Two vehicles were involved in the collision at the intersection. The driver of one of the vehicles left the scene without calling 9-1-1 or exchanging information. The victim was transported to a local area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
 
Suspect description:

  • White or Hispanic female
  • Possibly in her 40s
  • Possibly intoxicated
  • Gray sweater
  • Blonde hair

Suspect vehicle description:

  • Sedan
  • Four doors
  • White
  • Newer model
