APD Detectives Search for a Suspect in Connection to a Collision Involving Bodily Injury

Austin Police (APD) Highway Enforcement Investigations Unit Detectives are requesting the public’s assistance with identifying a female suspect in connection to a Collision Involving Bodily Injury that occurred on Friday, May 8, 2026, at approximately 12:27 a.m. near the area of S. US 183 NB & Metropolis Dr.
 
The female suspect rear-ended another vehicle causing minor injuries to the other driver. She initially stayed on scene but then left on foot across US 183. The suspect vehicle was impounded.
 
The female suspect is described as:
 

• White female
• Blonde hair

The suspect vehicle is described as:

• Cadillac
• XT5
• Silver
• 2017
