APD Detectives Search for a Suspect in Connection to a Collision Involving Death

Victim (Deceased): Bobby Wayne Carr, White male, 11/1/1959
APD Vehicular Homicide Detectives are requesting the public’s assistance with identifying the suspect in connection with a Collision Involving Death case.
The crash between a motor vehicle and a pedal cyclist happened on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at approximately 11:44 p.m., in the 4100 block of South Congress Avenue. When officers arrived on the scene, the vehicle had left the area. The cyclist, later identified as Bobby Wayne Carr, was taken to a local hospital with serious head injuries. Carr was pronounced deceased days later.
The suspect vehicle is described as:
- 2024 Black Ford Bronco
- 2 or 4 door style
- Missing front right side fender
- Possible collision damage to front right side of vehicle
- Blacked out wheels
- White license plate on lower left rear of vehicle
- Mounted rear tire
