APD Detectives Search for a Suspect in Connection to a Collision Involving Death

APD Vehicular Homicide Detectives are requesting the public’s assistance with identifying the suspect in connection with a Collision Involving Death case.
 
The crash between a motor vehicle and a pedal cyclist happened on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at approximately 11:44 p.m., in the 4100 block of South Congress Avenue. When officers arrived on the scene, the vehicle had left the area. The cyclist, later identified as Bobby Wayne Carr, was taken to a local hospital with serious head injuries. Carr was pronounced deceased days later.

The suspect vehicle is described as:

  • 2024 Black Ford Bronco
  • 2 or 4 door style
  • Missing front right side fender
  • Possible collision damage to front right side of vehicle
  • Blacked out wheels
  • White license plate on lower left rear of vehicle
  • Mounted rear tire
