APD Detectives Search for a Suspect in Connection to a Collision Involving Injury

The Austin Police (APD) Highway Enforcement Investigations Unit is requesting the public’s assistance with information regarding a Collision Involving Injury that occurred on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 10:05 p.m., in the 8400 block of Johnny Morris Road.

On the above date and time, APD officers responded to reports of a crash where an unknown vehicle struck a pedestrian on an E-Bike. The suspect vehicle left the scene following the collision, and did not stop and render aid. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
