APD Detectives Search for a Suspect in Connection to a Collision Involving Personal Injury

Austin Police (APD) Highway Enforcement Detectives are requesting the public’s help with identifying a suspect in connection to a Collision Involving Personal Injury that occurred on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at approximately 7:45 p.m., in the intersection of Walnut Avenue and East 12th Street.
 
On the above date and time, a female victim was jogging, and as she was crossing the street in a crosswalk, she was struck by white car. The suspect vehicle left the scene without calling 9-1-1, checking on the victim, or exchanging information. The victim suffered minor injuries and was not transported to a hospital.

The suspect is described as:

  • Black male
  • Middle aged
